Now if I see people walking around with the shirts that look like the “Jesus is my Homeboy” joints with Dr. West’s face on them, I will definitely feel like I’ve dropped the ball.

Jay-Z  and Dr. West recently held an event in conjunction with the NY Public Library to talk about Jay’s new book “Decoded” and the progression of hip hop. I think this was a great way to expose people to the brilliant mind of Dr. West that normally wouldn’t take the opportunity to hear him.  Jay-Z has been very consistent recently with making people explore new things in art and music. And this is another step in the right direction to expose some of his listeners to something new.
