I am a big fan of Memorial Day in Miami. Make that a HUGE fan. I went there in ’07 and ’08 and would have gone in ’09 but I was broke facing my own personal recession. That being said, there is NO WAY IN HELL ON GOD’s GREEN EARTH that I would let my wife, wifey, or serious girl friend attend the coonery festivities that is Memorial Day in Miami.
If you needed anymore proof that being a “bopper” is recession proof, the outbreak has even made its way to the NBA. I am sure that NBA superstar Dwight Howard isn’t too happy about seeing the mother of his child in a ‘How Low’ contest at T.O. pool party in Miami. Another ode to Valentine’s Day I guess..

I’m sure that you saw the games yesterday, so we are not going to talk about that.. But we will go ahead and start looking at the Superbowl. Personally, I’m thinking Colts (because how could you go against Peyton), but I would like to see New Orleans win. At least I have two weeks to come to a decision..
