Howard University continues to raise the bar for HBCU, as well as other university in general, and this news is no different. On Friday, the HUSA president from the university introduced President Obama as he signed his new executive order with new initiatives for the improved future for all Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The ‘hardest working man’ in the biz right now made a stop at HU yesterday to do a benefit concert for the relief efforts in Haiti after the earthquake last week. For a lot of people that know something that has been effected by these event, this is a good way to raise some money and awareness for this cause. Props to Wale for doing this in his town, DC, and props to my old stomping ground HU for having the concert.. Looks like it cracked… some things never change.. (sigh)
