Saving Haiti’s orphans. Is it adoption or kidnapping?

There has been a rush of Americans to adopt orphans from the aftermath in Haiti, but there has to be some questions about why there has been no movement within the numbers of African American orphans in this country for years and the sudden need to help. Is it genuine or just another effort after the fact?

Wale at HU for Haiti Benefit Concert

The ‘hardest working man’ in the biz right now made a stop at HU yesterday to do a benefit concert for the relief efforts in Haiti after the earthquake last week. For a lot of people that know something that has been effected by these event, this is a good way to raise some money and awareness for this cause. Props to Wale for doing this in his town, DC, and props to my old stomping ground HU for having the concert.. Looks like it cracked… some things never change.. (sigh)
