While I am no fan of the Iphone I cannot deny its mass appeal; its easy to use, its fun, it just works, and the apps make it easy to personalize and thats the software side of things.. I get it trust me I do the sheeple love it. Android current contender, golden gloves champion, snotty upstart the software is easy to use a nod at Apple, its fun another nod to Apple, and for the most part it just works (a few kinks here and there but otherwise) another nod to Apple.
